A Look Back on November 8th

There were many articles from November 8th over the years, so we are posting them to the main blog today.

Ken Valenti of The Journal News wrote the first article we read about the pending closure of New Rochelle, New York's landmark--the Thru-Way Diner.

The Post-Standard writer Robert A. Baker wrote about the fire at Doc's Little Gem diner.

Jeff Gearino of the Casper Star Tribune wrote on the progress of the LaBarge Moondance Diner.

Cleveland Jewish News, Senior Staff Reporter Arlene Fine wrote a review of Gali Gali Diner.

Gali Gali previously operated as Chris and Jimmy's diners. Before that these diners were owned by Steve Presser.

The building did reopen, though not as a diner.

South Coast Today wrote that the former Eddie's Diner was to be moved from the Shawmut Diner in New Bedford to Westport, Massachusetts.

Eddie's is a 1950 O'Mahony built diner.
