Alice Gabriel's article in The New York Times reviewed the Ocean House restaurant. Brian Galvin and his wife, Paula opened it in August 2004. The restaurant, located in Croton-On-Hudson, New York, is a restored late 1920's to early 1930's Bixler diner.

Kitsap Peninsula Business Journal reports the diner previously known as the Blue Water Diner located in Bainbridge Island, Washington, reopened as the Big Star Diner. The Iggy uncensored blog entry for March 13, 2008 mentions ownership has changed and it's now Richie's 305 Diner.
