Tin Man Diner flickr Photo Turns 300
Back on June 1, 2008 when we visited the diner, work was still being done in preparation for their opening. We captured many shots of the diner, however, this has always been one of our favorites. The subsequent blog entries we've written for "Diner News and History" have always been some of the more popular pages viewed. As a side note, we've also noticed a significant interest in the Mayberry Drive-in Theater and Diner.
When Doug "VB" Goudie of Fox25 brought his "Diner Wednesday" feature to the Tin Man on the 14th of this month, our stats went off the charts. Over the last few weeks the flickr counter for this picture surpassed our picture of the Diner Exhibit photo. According to flickr, three hundred people have clicked on the thumbnail to see the larger picture. Thank you to everyone viewing our photo of the Tin Man Diner's interior. We encourage you to visit and experience the diner for yourself. Whenever we go to the Tin Man, we feel not like we are eating in a restaurant, but a guest visiting the home Barbara Lind and her daughter Susan Kettell-Lind.
