Connecticut Post writer, Andrew Brophy mentioned the red tape Gary Zemola's working through in order to get his diner opened in Fairfield, Connecticut. Zemo's Diner is the former DeCoven Diner.
Last information we have is this project is on hold.

Justin Mason of The Daily Gazette wrote about Tom Ketchum's project to bring the former Elite Diner that once "housed the first Illinois franchise selling Col. Harland Sanders' famous recipe for fried chicken" to Duanesburg, New York.
Another article about Tom's project appeared on November 27th.

According to The Globe Gazette writer, John Skipper, a video crew stopped into the SuzieQ Diner (Mason City, Iowa). They were there getting footage for a future episode of Al Roker's program, "Diner Destinations."

Anslee Willett writing for The Gazzette, noted Tom Fincham purchased the diner once operating as Chuck's Stop Diner (Colorado Springs, Colorado) at auction.
