Milford Diner - Milford, NH
On this date in 2005, the Milford Diner closed. After many years in business, this very renovated 1930's diner had new owners. The revamped restaurant reopened about a month later, doing business as Toro. A series of events lead to its sudden closure in July 2006. In October 2007, the restaurant reopened as the Milford Diner. However, once again it closed about nine months later.
Cathy Cleveland of the Cabinet Press, reports the lights will be back on soon. This time the name Red Arrow Diner will be on the building. It's expected to be open by mid-October. The other Red Arrow Diner owned by the Sheehan family is about one-half hour away in Manchester.
