O'Rourke's Diner, located in Middletown, Connecticut, will make an appearance on the Food Network. According to the Wesleyan Argus reporter Elizabeth Wojnar, the crew for the program, "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" were there and filmed two days for a future episode. Read the entire article here.

Today is the grand opening of the Road Island Diner. When Tommy's Deluxe Diner left Middletown, Rhode Island in July 2007, we followed Keith Walker's restoration of the 1939 O'Mahony diner into the Road Island Diner through its website gallery. It was an ambitious project and there's nothing finer than a restored diner. We're anxious to visit. Read the entire news article here.

In the News - O'Rourke's Diner

O'Rourke's Diner,

Today the Hartford Courant reported on the rebuilding process of O'Rourke's.

Today, there are visible signs of a rebirth at the fire-ravaged Main Street restaurant, as volunteers do carpentry work and pour concrete on the eve of the rebuilding committee's latest fundraiser.

From their article entitled, "O'Rourke's Diner Shows Some Signs Of A Rebirth" by Alaine Griffin.

A credit to the hard work and dedication of all those involved, O'Rourke's reopened about four months after this article was published.
