Yellow Rose Diner - Towanda, PA

edited
As with all diner restorations, we believe it's important to keep the public informed on your progress. It serves to build anticipation which can translate into increased business once open. We followed the restoration of the former Tommy's Deluxe Diner through its website gallery. It recently opened as the Road Island Diner. Our blog posts about the diner are some of the most read.

There's a restoration project being chronicled on YouTube on that you may or may not know about. Currently it's named the Yellow Rose and is located in Towanda, PA. Gordon Tindall's been working on what they've identified as a rare 1927 Goodell Dining Car Company diner. This isn't the first diner that Gordon's restored. The previous is known as the Red Rose and is currently for sale.

We subscribed to Joseph Dupont's channel when we received notification about his videos of the restoration project being posted on YouTube. In the last video we saw Gordon installing the wainscoat boards. A new video was posted a few days ago showing the result of his hard work and determination. Be sure to watch the entire video as Gordon speaks of his next tasks in restoring the diner.

We should note that Mike Engle brought this diner from Ohio and began restoration. He created a page which includes pictures and history of the diner.
